What's in the name?

Bexar /ber/

Bexar is the name of the Texas county where the company was founded. The   

Historians track Bexar to an old Moorish fort, Bejar.  Bexar County was created on December 20, 1836. The county was named for San Antonio de Béxar, one of the 23 Mexican municipalities of Texas at the time of its independence.

Quality Instruction

Bexar Arms Co. recruits instructors with a wide range of experience: military, law enforcement and skilled hobbyists.  We use NRA curriculum taught by NRA certified instructors.

Classroom Environment

Bexar Arms Co. is dedicated to promoting firearm safety.  We ensure a safe, comfortable, and relaxed environment to help shooters focus on learning.  All skill levels and firearm users are welcome.

Bexar Arms Company was established in 2012. Our mission is to help responsible citizens build confidence and comfort with their guns. We believe firearm ownership is a right!  Whether you shoot for recreation, hunting, or defense, safety is at the core of your right to bear arms.  Hence, Bexar Arms Co. offers courses to improve firearm safety, shooting, and maintenance.

Bexar Arms Co. specializes in security assessments, safety planning and security team training.  We train non-profit organizations, churches, businesses and event organizers.  Our comprehensive program produces Standard Operating Procedures that cover the primary emergency response for threats to infrastructure, violent disruptions and non-violent emergencies.

The preliminary assessment includes an on-site visit, operational review (SOPs and guidelines), facilities walk-thru and security interviews.  Written report and results consultation.

Level 1 Implementation includes developing safety response team and protocols, creating SOPs for safety & emergency response, safety team basic training and a semi-annual review.

Level 2 Implementation builds on Level 1 and includes quarterly safety team training, advanced safety and emergency response training, and an annual review.
